Usually, the normal Unix unzip suffices. I have not tried specifically
the arial bundle but it worked with other microsoft font packages.

There are some zip-exe files which can be decompressed by unzip and others
which cannot. The microsoft fonts that I have tried could be unpacked
in this way.
