The IEC seem to list the same standard at CHF 498 which is a bit more like
the normal prices charged for such printed standards.  (In fact, the price
code is that they list for standards of 1791-2000 pages despite the
standard being only 992 pages long.  They list both English and French
language versions, each at that price.)  If that is a printed version it
might be useful for people who want a printed version with no real concern
for cost.

Does the PDF version allow you to print it out (both in terms of not
instructing the viewer not to allow printing, and in terms of including a
licence to do so)?  Does it include any licence terms purporting to
restrict you from placing either a printout or the PDF version of the
standard in a library, transferring ownership of them or lending them?
