Recently (today) spotted: "X-Sun-Charset: US-ASCII" (and
some time ago: "X-Sun-Charset: ISO-8859-1") There were no
MIME headers, nor any other charset indication. And I'm
quite sure it wasn't a MS product that issues those
(non-)headers... ;-)
I have no idea about MS Outlook Express, but MS Outlook
('non-Express') + MS Exchange handles MIME quite ok, both
on receive and send, as far as I know (and for the current
versions). Something which cannot be said about Eudora, nor
(apparently) some e-mail software from Sun. I haven't tested
NN 6 Mail much, but it appears to work on this point...
I know this is to some extent an anti-MS mailing list, but if
you're going to complain, be fair.
Kind regards

PS
Now, did the e-mail program YOU use show an o-diaeresis after
the G above? Did the subject line come out as "RE: spam"?
If not, complain to YOUR e-mail software provider... ;-)
