I wish the above was true.  Unfortunately, Wyse, HP, Televideo,
DataGeneral, Stratus, and Hazeltine terminals are not only still in
wide use, but the first three are still being sold.  These terminals
do not subscribe to the ANSI/ISO/ECMA frameworks for terminal
implementations.
