xterm / doublewidth character patch #3

Here is a new patch. You can fetch it from
<http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~rwb197/xterm/xterm-wide-0.3.diff.gz>

There's a little demo file at
<http://www.ecs.soton.soton.ac.uk/~rwb197/xterm/doublewide-demo>

New features include :

  * automatically chooses the right widefont. if it can't find
    one it streches the regular one.

  * compiles without --enable-wide-chars

  * runs without "-u8"

  * deals with overwriting of half-characters better (there are
    some cosmetic problems with this but if you force a redraw
    it then draws the terminal window fine).

  * has a huge character class table, so doubleclicking on greek,
    ideographs, armenian will do the expected thing.

This release is actually usuable : I'm currently using it as my default
terminal.

I'm trying to track down some cosmetic bugs, in particular it still seems
possible to select half characters. If you can reproduce these _reliably_,
please let me know how to do this.
