Under Windows I can use the oldfashioned *.fon fonts alongside the
truetype fonts f.eks. in notepad or a dosbox. Wouldn't it be a good
idea to be able to use NCF under XFree86 like we use misc-fixed? If
we're building fonts with 1000's of glyphs, it seems to me we'd be
duplicating a lot of effort by making different fonts for console and
X.
