Yes. Maybe the segmentation fault really was an out-of-memory.

I try to be explicit so that you can see the type
of mistakes that ignorant people will make, and can
polish the distribution a bit.

Yes, it arrived after I tried mf wothout parameters.
Now all is fine, although I have not succeeded in getting
reasonable 8x16 bitmaps yet.
