No. In the newer kernels you can just choose a config option
to support 2GB of ram...

I'll update it RSN, thanks.

Hi *,

last month you joined this list with the wildest of plans and
the intention of studying the kernel a bit more before making
them reality. Now I wonder how many of you have changed their
plans since then or still want to help with the site.

What's the current status of everyone?

Hi all,

I have been ill for four weeks, and started working again last week.
Currently I am busy with some deadlines for my graduation, I have some
catching up to do here (due to the illness)...

Most material I've read is based on Linux 2.0. I still need to browse
linux-kernel, and linux-mm archives (and maybe kernelnotes.org) to get an
impression of the current vm subsystem.

Cheers,

       Marcel

hi all,

I didn't change my mind. I'm still keeping my promise. In the last
month, I was suddenly "bombed" by tones of works. To name a few,
server configurations, isdn modem pool setup, web server/web site
reconstruction, some CGI applications, and some admin work. All came
after making the decision to join this voluntary work. I expect to
finish these tasks in a couple of weeks. Besides I have read cvs
documents.

Still enthousiastic, but like everyone else pretty busy [lame excuse, i
know ;P ]
When I have some spare time I'm reading documents (kernel tour and the mm
docs).
I still want to help what I can but havent read enought already to write
about it. I hope things will change soon.

I'm thinking about a diary too, sounds like a good idea.

Hope to hear from you soon,
