Moreover, I've been testing it with insane amounts of data to see how well it scales and such. I've succeded (purposely) on sucking up nearly all the physical memory and the entirety of swap in the process. After exiting normally (and freeing everything), I find that my memory usage 8 hours later is somewhat odd. It reads me as using 1544K of swap and 365964K of RAM. Prior to load, the system ran normally in the neighborhood of 200 megs of RAM with no swap used.
