Supporting you

Okay, you want your readers to goad you with a
challenge to write something? Here goes...

I'm what one might call a "newbie." I'm doing a school
project on how the Linux kernel performs amazing acts
of hardware management, and the first part of this
project is memory management. I've only looked around
in a Linux OS, and haven't really had the time to poke
around and learn what it's all about.

Every Linux article and home page ends up reading like
foreign language to me. Can this old dos baby learn
some new tricks? I'm open to discussion, and am ready
to learn and tackle whatever.

What am I asking for? I don't know, just a better way
to learn about it. There is a real world out there
who's very curious about Linux and wants to take on
the GPL for serious measures. Where do i begin?

Brian D. Weber.
