Rescue mode.

Hello.

I wonder that Linux has no rescue boot mode.
Even Mustdie(TM) has this mode.

If somebody plays with kernel, startup scripts, wants to run xdm at startup
- he must configure rescue option in lilo.

It would be wiser:
    - to show rescue menu only in two cases:
            - The previous boot failed.
            - At the time of kernel loading some key was pressed.
    - to have always ready to use system image (kernel, startup scripts,
etc.).
Almost the same as boot diskette, but:
            - stored on hard drive.
            - updated automaticaly after every successful configuration
change.

                Best regards.

                                Alexander.
