You can already do this on computers that have firmware support for network booting. I netboot my sun3's into what little bit of linux is available for them. I don't see any reason why we wouldn't be able to netboot macintoshes. I'm willing to work on it, but unfortunately, I don't own an iMac or a new blue g3.

If anyone wants t send me one... :)

All you really need is firmware that can run tftp and send a rarp request or a bootdisk that can do it.
