Netbooting ...
This might not be a kernel issue so please forgive me but ...
I was wondering what it would take to net boot a bunch of identical Linux boxes
off one kernel immage over a network (the standard NC + a real processor and
maybe some disk). Probably would pull the rest of the stuff off nfs once the
kernel got on its feet. But what problems would this kernel face and what
areas of development would we need to look at?
I'm mostly curious if there is a strategy that would allow Linux to pull some
of the same tricks Apple is looking to pull with their imacs and OS X Server.
