RealTime and Embedded Linux
Hello,
4 suggestions :
1) One great thing for the Linux kernel IMHO could be to converge
with the Real Time development team (RTL),
2) The ability to easily build an embedded minimalistic kernel
would be nice (even if the trend for the 2.2 serie has been
to increase the size and memory consumption),
3) High Availability (vast subject. 'don't know the current
status of the HA project),
4) Really efficient and secure file system (like Solaris ODS,
maybe even more robust, but at least as full featured).
A +
