Selling for Engineers
One-day Seminar

The Selling for Engineers seminar is a good introduction to effective sales
principles for people who are new to selling, and also a useful refresher
for 'old hands'. It applies to selling both technical products and
intangible services.

Many Sales Engineers have been learning the technical skills of their job
for years but have had little formal training in selling. This course
helps correct that imbalance.
Typical job titles of delegates: Sales Engineer, Account Executive and
Business Development Manager.

Fee for this event is £300.

Telephone Sales Prospecting for Engineers
One-day Workshop
This event is a practical workshop teaching people in technical companies
how to find new customers on the phone. It is applicable to business
development for both tangible products and intangible services. The first
session addresses whom to target, what to say and how to handle problems.
The remainder of the day consists of live sales calls with coaching from
Robert Seviour; the objective being to give delegates some positive
experiences of prospecting, make sales appointments and maybe sell
something!

Please note that this telephone sales prospecting event is restricted to a
maximum of six delegates to permit individual coaching.
Fee for this event is £300.

Closing Techniques Workshop
One day workshop
What if the customer says:
"	" 'It's too expensive'
"	" 'We're happy with our present supplier'
"	" 'I want to think about it'

Can you handle these common objections?
By far the most efficient way to be more profitable is to turn more of the
enquiries you receive into paid orders. For this, the ability to resolve
objections is critical - either you close or you lose the sale.
And if you answer 'How much discount will you give me?' with: 'I'll ask my
boss', you waste profit, which could be yours with a better reply.

In only a day I will teach you techniques which overcome these objections
and more. You will be able to use them immediately to win profitable orders.

There is no need to lose business to your competitors or give big
discounts.

Fee for this event is £300.

If you have never had any formal sales training or need a refresher, don't
continue to work at a disadvantage.

From: Mrs Serena Jones
PLEASE ENDEAVOUR TO USED IT FOR THE CHILDREN OF GOD.
I am the above named person from Kuwait. I am married
to Dr. Harry Jones who worked with Kuwait embassy in Ivory Co
ast for nine years before he died in the year
2000.
We were married for eleven years without a child. He died a
fter a brief illness that lasted for only four days. Before
his death we were both born again Christia ns.Since his death
I decided not to re- marry or get a child outside my matrimonial
home which the Bible is against. When my late husband was alive he
deposited the sum of$8.6Million (Eight Million six hundred thousand
U.S. Dollars) with one finance/security company in Amsterderm Hollan
d. Presently, this money is still with the Security Company.
Recently, my Doctor told me that I would not last for the next
three months due to cancer problem. Though what disturbs me most i
s my stroke sickness. Having known my condition I decided to
donate this fund to church or better still a christian individ
ual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruc
t here in. I want a church that will use this fund to fund chu
rches, orphanages and widows propagating the word of God and t
o ensure that the house of God is maintained. The Bible made
us to understand that Blessed is the hand that giveth.
I took this decision because I don?t have any child that wil
l inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christi
ans and I don?t want my husband?s hard earned money to be misu
sed by unbelievers. I don?t want a situation where this money
will be used in an ungodly manner. Hence the reason for taking
this bold decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know whe
re I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of th
e Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that the lord will fight my case
and I shall hold my peace. I don?t need any telephone communi
cation in this regard because of my health because of the pres
ence of my husband?s relatives around me always. I don?t want
them to know about this development. With God all things are p
ossible. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the
contact of the Finance/Security Company in Amsterderm Holland
. I will also issue you a letter of authority that will prove
you as the original-beneficiary of this fund.
I want you and the church to always pray for me because the lord
is my shephard. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy
Christian. Whoe ver that wants to serve the Lord must serve him
in spirit and truth. Please always be prayerful all through your
life. Any d elay in your reply will give me room in sourcing for
a chuch or christian individual for this same purpose. Please assure
me that you will act accordingly as I stated herein. Hoping
to hearing from you.
N.B-PLEASE I WILL ADVICE YOU TO GIVE THE LAWYER IN CHARGE A CALL I
N HOLLAND IMMEDIATELY, HE DOES EVERYTHING ON MY BEHALF AND HE'
S VERY UNDERSTANDING AND I BELIEVE HE WILL LEAD YOU TO YOUR SU
CCESS IN JESUS NAME, THE LAWYER'S NUMBER IS 00-31-645-246-626.
Remain blessed in the name of the Lord.
Yours in Christ,
Remain blessed in the name of the Lord.
Yours in Christ,
Mrs Serena Jones .

The Encrypted Filesystem Howto has moved to a new location;
it is now part of the Linux Documentation Project:

Looks promising. But it's not going to be merged because of objections by
the cryptoapi maintainer.

It's not a patch, it's an add-on. I'm working on a gas version of the
assembler code so it can be merged, but it's far from being complete
(although it works).

Well that's the cost of an assembler implementation ;) it's not portable.=
=20
Probably you can one of IBM's compilers to compile the cipher of your
choice. http://www-3.ibm.com/software/awdtools/ccompilers/ ... Rumours say
they're fast than gcc.

It may not be considered a job of loop-aes, but it was be a nice feature to
allow the option of running the data through gzip before encrypting it. I
looked at cloop, but you need enough swap to hold the entire partition, i
guess it does one big zip rather than nice little 512 blocks.

Are 512 blocks too small to compress? would the dictionary take up too much
room? Perhaps a larger system wide dictionary could be maintained somwhere,
i dunno, thats why i'm asking :)

Brad.

From: Mrs Serena Jones
PLEASE ENDEAVOUR TO USED IT FOR THE CHILDREN OF GOD.
I am the above named person from Kuwait. I am married to Dr.
Harry Jones who worked with Kuwait embassy in Ivory Coast for nine years
before he died in the year
      2000.
We were married for eleven years without a child. He died after a
brief illness that lasted for only
four days. Before his death we were both born again Christians.Since
his death I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside my
matrimonial home which the Bible is against. When my late husband was alive he
deposited the sum of$8.6Million (Eight Million six hundred thousand U.S.
Dollars) with one finance/security company in Amsterderm Holland.
Presently, this money is still with the Security Company. Recently, my
Doctor told me that I would not last for the next three
months due to cancer problem. Though what disturbs me most is my
stroke sickness. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to
church or better still a christian individual that will utilize this
money the way I am going to instruct here in. I want a church that will
use this fund to fund churches, orphanages and widows propagating the
word of God and to ensure that the house of God is maintained. The Bible
made us to understand that Blessed is the hand that giveth.
I took this decision because I don’t have any child that will inherit
this money and my husband relatives are not Christians and I don’t want
my husband’s hard earned money to be misused by unbelievers. I don’t
want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly manner.
Hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I am not afraid of death
hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom
of the Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that the lord will fight my case and
I shall hold my peace. I don’t need any telephone communication in this
regard because of my health because of the presence of my husband’s
relatives around me always. I don’t want them to know about this
development. With God all things are possible. As soon as I receive your reply
I shall give you the contact of the Finance/Security Company in
Amsterderm Holland. I will also issue you a letter of authority that will
prove you as the original- beneficiary of this fund. I want you and the
church to always pray for me because the lord is my shephard. My
happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian. Whoever that
wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and truth. Please always
be prayerful all through your life. Any delay in your reply will give
me room in sourcing for a chuch or christian individual for this same
purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated
herein. Hoping to hearing from you.
N.B-PLEASE I WILL ADVICE YOU TO GIVE THE LAWYER IN CHARGE A CALL IN
HOLLAND IMMEDIATELY, HE DOES EVERYTHING ON MY BEHALF AND HE'S VERY
UNDERSTANDING AND I BELIEVE HE WILL LEAD YOU TO YOUR SUCCESS IN JESUS NAME,

Hi,

Many thanks (to you and Dale Amon) for your responses --- I apologise
for the delay in replying.

Whilst I am able to encrypt a single session using aespipe in the
manner you describe, I remain unable to encrypt individual sessions.
Trying to mount them invariably results in the error.

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock

Does anyone know if there is any reason why one should not be able to
encrypt /individual sessions/ on a CDROM? I am using the
international crypto, with the cryptoloop and cipher-aes modules.

Regards,

Jim

I suspect it may be something to do with the back-references to previous
sessions created by "mkisofs -C ... -M ..." which would refer to blocks
outside the scope of the loop device.

As for how to fix it, I have no idea; as far as I can see, it would require
some kind of special multisession-CD-ROM-aware loop device :-(

Well,

im following the loopAES readme, trying to build the loop.o modules for my
2.6.0-test7 kernel (this is my first try to upgrade to the 2.6.x series,
loopAES worked fine so far with the 2.4.x kernels). After doing "make clean"
and then "make LINUX_SOURCE=/usr/src/linux" I get the following:

This is on a gentoo box with everything fairly new...any hints on where my

Attn.
I feel compelled to write and request your assistance.
Please, kindly excuse my intrusion into your private
business. I got your contact through a Business
Directory in my effort to get a foreign partner whom
I can entrust with my family investment, while i was
in the recreational centre at the refugee camp in
the Netherlands.
My name is Johnson Kunde Jnr. the eldest son of Hon.
Kunde Makinde Johnson, former minister of finance in
Liberia. The junta Chales Taylor assassinated my father
when he dethrone President, Samuel Doe, which
subsequently led to outbreak of war in my country.
The perennial war in the country forced me and my
Family into exile in various countries. After the
Death of my father, we discovered among my father?s
Documents that he deposited some funds totaling Twenty
-fivemillion Five hundred Thousand United State Dollars
(US$25. 500.000.00) with a private security company in
Netherlands. I am now under political asylum in the
Netherlands while my mother and my siblings are in
Hideout in Dakar Senegal.
My mother advised me to search for a reliable business
oriented person who can help us invest these funds. We
have proposed 20% to you for your assistance while 5%
is set aside for any possible contigencies. Modality
has been work out to the highest level to move these
Funds out of Africa as soon as you signify your
interest to help us invest the balance 75% into a
viable business in your country.
The assistance we are soliciting from you is to help
us receive and invest the money why my family will
join you in your Country as soon as we achieved our
desired goal. I will appreciate it if you could write
me to enable us discuss further on the whole issue
raised herein. These burdens appeared enormous for me
due to my ignorance in the business industry and
coupled with my present social status.
Sir, I am eagerly anticipating your swift response.
Regards,
Kunde Johnson Jnr.

Well,

im following the loopAES readme, trying to build the loop.o modules for my
2.6.0-test7 kernel (this is my first try to upgrade to the 2.6.x series,
loopAES worked fine so far with the 2.4.x kernels). After doing "make clean"

Can you try this EXPERIMENTAL patch which is for loop-AES-v1.7e ?
I don't have any multisession CD-ROMs to test with, so I have to rely on
your testing efforts. Latest released loop-AES version is here:

usually you want to compress 128k and 64k size blocks, cloop and gcloop
have tools that let you do that by compressing each block, the problem
is that you have to write the index of the blocks on the TOP of the file.
Refer to the cloop-0.68. for the tools
and gcloop for a cryptoloop alike implementation

During the last 11 years we have been successfully presenting our training
seminars in the UK. We have now decided to let the rest of the world have a
chance!
Listed here are the 3 seminars that we will be presenting in various
locations around the world between now and March 2004.
For further info please send us your details and we will send our
information pack by return.

1 - Selling for Engineers - One-day Seminar

The Selling for Engineers seminar is a good introduction to effective sales
principles for people who are new to selling, and also a useful refresher
for 'old hands'. It applies to selling both technical products and
intangible services.

Many Sales Engineers have been learning the technical skills of their job
for years but have had little formal training in selling. This course
helps correct that imbalance.
Typical job titles of delegates: Sales Engineer, Account Executive and
Business Development Manager.

2 - Telephone Sales Prospecting for Engineers - One-day Workshop

This event is a practical workshop teaching people in technical companies
how to find new customers on the phone. It is applicable to business
development for both tangible products and intangible services. The first
session addresses whom to target, what to say and how to handle problems.
The remainder of the day consists of live sales calls with coaching from
Robert Seviour; the objective being to give delegates some positive
experiences of prospecting, make sales appointments and maybe sell
something!

Please note that this telephone sales prospecting event is restricted to a
maximum of six delegates to permit individual coaching.

3 - Closing Techniques Workshop - One day workshop

There is no need to lose business to your competitors or give big
discounts.

If you have never had any formal sales training or need a refresher, don't
continue to work at a disadvantage.

All courses are from 9am until 5pm and cost £300 per person per day

Reservations and information
Please contact Sue on:

Tel: +44(0)1481 720 294 Fax: +44(0)1481 720 317

If sales training is not an issue for your company please reply to this
email with the word "DELETE" in the subject line. We will remove your
details promptly.

There is no need to lose business to your competitors or give big
discounts.

If you have never had any formal sales training or need a refresher, don't
continue to work at a disadvantage.

All courses are from 9am until 5pm and cost £300 per person per day
