I have tested with some kernels I have available here:
2.6.21-rc2-git4 on 686
Debian 2.6.18-4-686 (version 2.6.18.dfsg.1-11)
Debian 2.6.8-3-sparc64 (version 2.6.8-15sarge6)
Debian 2.4.27-3-sparc64 (version 2.4.27-9sarge5)
The new Makefile worked fine for all of them; the resulting
modules loaded without tainting the kernel and completed the
tests target (with EXTRA_CIPHERS=y) successfully.
cheers,
Max
