Re: root-crypto with loop-aes on debian-testing, 2.6.15-1-686--dietlibc ???

hello,
maybe dietlibc is not compilable here and is, therefore, killing build-initrd.sh
and everything.

When I type in (/usr/local/src/dietlibc-0.30) "make", I get enormeus sceens of
messages which could be all and everything, harmless or serious......

When I type "install bin-i386/diet /usr/local/bin", only 1 file called
"diet", 4,9kB, is transported, I don find any other activity and I cannot know
which files of which size have to be where or are important here.
I know that should be a wrapper but where are the libs ?

When I type in
"make install bin-i386/diet /usr/local/bin",
 ^^^^^
I get under /opt/diet/bin
                           " /include
                           " /lib-i386
                           " /man

When installing the dietlibc.DEB-PAKET, that installed

/usr/lib/diet/lib/libc.so
            " /libpthread.so
            " /libdl.so
            " /libcompat.so
            " /libm.so

and even an /etc/diet.ld.conf,------- it's obvious where the libs are.

Which dietlibc-files must be where and, for security, how approx. big
should they be;
How big must the initrd be, if it is well-made by build-initrd.sh ?

                                  Regards, Reverend
