Re: Building loop-aes from debian sources - fakesource
Thanks for your reply.
I'm very pleased with method 4 of the README.debian in
your packages - I was just obsessing about what I was
doing wrong with module-assistant. Probably something
idiotic on my part to do with the sources?

OK. I get:
make[2]: *** No rule to make target
`/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.27-2-386/include/linux/autoconf.h',
needed by
`/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.27-2-386/include/linux/modules/signal.ver'.
Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory

make[1]: *** [_sfdep_kernel] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.27-2-386'
make: *** [dep-files] Error 2
A subsequent attempt to build the module with these
faked sources fails.

Will do - my apologies for the newbie posts and thanks
for the assistance. I'll try to keep my posts here on
less distro-specific matters.
