Consider this (stripped down) command line:
mkisofs $to_burn |aespipe -w10 -K$key -O16 |cat $key - >/dev/dvdrecorder
Without the -w10 option, aespipe's "Password:" prompt would get garbled
by mkisofs's preliminary output, which can be quite verbose at times.
I don't know if there are any other uses, but IMHO this usability one
warrants the -w option by itself.
