The "Assertion failure in journal_stop()" that Alexander posted on 25 Aug
2004 20:44:22, looked like preempt triggered error.
# grep PREEMPT config-2.6.8.1 kernel-config.box-?
config-2.6.8.1:CONFIG_PREEMPT=y
kernel-config.box-a:CONFIG_PREEMPT=y
kernel-config.box-b:CONFIG_PREEMPT=y
So far all my testing has been with preempt disabled. Any chance that you
also test with preempt disabled?
