cryptoloop and 2.4.22-pre3

Hi,
as you've probably noticed that the 2.4.22-pre3 kernel includes some
crypto support the problem is however that there's no cryptoloop support. crypto-api, patch-int breaks
and i haven't seen anything on either LKML or BK-Commits about any loop support.

is there a stand alone cryptoloop patch that i have missed?
will cryptoloop be supported in the near future (=2.4.23) or do i have to
stick with 2.4.21 or change to 2.5 when looking for a new kernel?
