loop_fish2 in kernel 2.4.20
Hi
I haven't used this mailing list before and I have already searched the
whole web via google but I haven't found anything on this topic so far :>
My Problem:
I am using the Kernel 2.4.20-4GB from SUSE 7.3 and now I want to install the
Kernel 2.4.20 because I want to use QoS/CBQ, but then I realized that there
is a Problem concerning my crypted hdd.
At first, I searched the whole kernel config (make menuconfig) for the
encryption for (oder of a reiserfs partition) reiserfs, but then somebody
gave me the hint (oder told oder advised me) that I need a patch.
So I downloaded a patch from
ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/hvr/testing/
and pathed the kernel source. Now I checked ALL options under the
Cryptography support (CryptoAPI) option.
I compiled it, but still, the new kernel does not have the module
loop_fish2. While booting the PC the flollowing message "can't modprobe
loop_fish2" comes up.
Does anyone have a really GOOD tutorial for twofish encrypted reiserfs
partitions with the kernel 2.4.20? I' m getting tired of searching google.
so long
