That should work just fine as long as kernel .config and kernel compile time
generated files match those files that were used to build prebuilt kernel.
Meaning that you have to recompile kernel on the build box (to get those
generated files correct), but compiled loop.o binary can be distributed and
used on any box that uses precompiled kernel.
