patch-int-2.2.17.7 has got the CONFIG_BLK_DEV_LOOP_USE_REL_BLOCK which
passes relative block numbers as the IV, but patch-int-2.4.3.1 is
still completely unable to read blowfish crypto written in 2.2 with this
option enabled.
so it seems, the problem lies elsewhere.
