Questions about new kernels

Current;y I run 2.2.18 with the international kernel crypto patch.

I won't be able to move to 2.4.x until MIT moves there this summer.

But I would like th security fixes in 2.2.19. So I want to ask about
the new 2.2.19 kernel.  Has anyone tested the patch on this yet?  Any
luck?

Also, Redhat has added NFS v3 along with its new stock 2.2.19 release.
Has anyone been adventurous enough to try adding crypto to that?

And in a final question, how compatible is a filesystem between 2.2.x
and 2.4.x?  ( With AES to be specific ).
