Thanks for this fix.
I've put out a 2.4.3.1 with the above changes, as well as an updated
util-linux patch. As some of you may know, the loopback device code
in linux 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 was buggy. Version 2.4.3 includes fixes from
Jens Axboe which, to my knowledge, has eliminated all known bugs.
Because of the bugs in 2.4.1 and 2.4.2, there were no kerneli releases
for those kernels.
The ChangeLog for 2.4.3.1 is as follows:
2001-04-02 Alexander Kjeldaas <astor@fast.no>
* International kernel patch 2.4.3.1 released.
2001-03-31 Herbert Valerio Riedel <hvr@gnu.org>
* Added keylength checks in blowfish_set_key.
2001-03-13 Sebastian Klemke <packet@teenix.int.convergence.de>
* Updated util-linux patch to 2.11a/b.
2001-02-13 Christoph Hellwig <hch@caldera.de>
* Moved all initialization to the newstyle module_{init,exit}
version. Removed one proc support function from cryptoapi.c that
now exists in 2.2.18.
2001-??-?? Martin Aumuel <lists@reserv.at>
* gen-cbc.h decrypt didn't honour the atomic flag.
As usual, this patch is available from:
ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/crypto/
and mirrors.
