2.2.x and 2.4.0 kerneli

hi,
	I made another attempt getting 2.2.x crypto images working under 
2.4.0 but have failed again.  Running modprobe on cipher-serpent locks 
up teh system enough so that it cannot be used but no OOPS appears. 
This happens with the old and new util-linux.  What's the problem?
I noticed that there's no loop_gen atleast in my install, has it been 
removed or could this be the problem in my case?

	Also, the www.kerneli.org webpage looks out of date since it 
doesn't even give a link to this mailing list, heh.
