A proposal for a General Clustering Framework

Hi,

I've talked off-list to many of you about the prospects for creating a
general clustering framework - usable for many or all HA (and HPC) clusters.

I'm currently in the process of writing a paper on these framework ideas. 
If any of you are interested in providing me feedback on a VERY EARLY
version of the paper, you can find a copy of it in StarOffice format here:

I'll send in an extended abstract derived from this version to submit to ALS
tomorrow.  The final paper is due a few months from now.

Please send your comments to me directly.  Otherwise, there'll be lots of
cross-list postings, etc.

Of course, if it's possible to send me comments and thoughts before midday
tomorrow, that would be wonderful!  Otherwise, they'll be incorporated after
the initial extended abstract is submitted.
