What I was trying to save was the huge download. If you put the stuff
in CVS, users don't need to download the entire zip every time, just
the (relatively small) diffs. I applied for a SourcFeorge project to
store the files and provide automatic diffs. I would like to ask your
permission to use your archive in that project and to give you credit
for it on SF.

I'm working on code to transform ata-100 data into XML form. If the
work progresses beyond prototyping, I will publish it under GPL and the
data under FDL.
