You bet.
As a confirmed non-programmer I've recently tried to decide which
script language to use for such a project, and how fancy I wanted to
get with a Cirrus-type clone for at least my own use. I have visions
of my computer emailing me automated weather checks
(fetchmail/sendmail) to my Palm Pilot or digital phone, faxing me a
copy of it (efax), compressing it to palmdoc (MakeDocJ) if I'm at
home, and having a nice GUI (Tcl/Tk) to mark off what I want
downloaded and when. <goosebumps just thinking of it>.
Since I've eradicated Windoze from my home office, I've just been
using the web access to GTE, and don't like it quite as much. Need to
change that.
