restoring of pt_regs regs in context switch

Hello all
I have a question concerning context switch :
When and how does the content of 'regs' (struct pt_regs)  is restored 
during context switch?
(especially fn, arg, and kernel_thread_helper() address, set in 
kernel_thread() in order to call fn(arg)).
