Hi,

in the documentation of the current kernel (2.6.x) you can find the
following lines in Documentation/usb/gadget_serial.txt:

Versions of the gadget serial driver are available for the
2.4 Linux kernels, but this document assumes you are using
version 2.3 or later of the gadget serial driver in a 2.6
Linux kernel.

Can anyone give me a hint where I can find the sources for
drivers/usb/gadget/serial.c for the kernel 2.4?
I mean the 'old-style' drivers/usb/gadget/serial.c which existed from
kernel version 2.6.2 till 2.6.26.7

I cannot see a way to port this file back from 2.6.x to kernel version
2.4.x because of the massive changes in the tty layer.
