It means the IPv6 kernel module is not loaded.
Is there any way that I can load the module...or confirm whether the kernel module is runnig or not.

Sorry, the facts are against you, your kernel is already IPv6 enabled.
The file /proc/net/if_inet6 exists *only* when the kernel has IPv6
support.
