Was patching clean? You didn't get any hunk rejects? Which Linux
kernel (release) version are you patching it with? You need to use the
exact kernel for which the patches are built.

ya, i got some hunk rejects for .rej files.

 

am using KDB patches: kdb-v4.2-2.4.20-common-1
                                    kdb-v4.2-2.4.20-i386

for 2.4 kernel..
