I think you have to check out www.freebsd.org in order to upgrade your
operating system and therefore your kernel that it seems a bit outdate.
This is a mailing list regarding common problems in developing code for
linux operationg system kernel. So please, if you enjoy a BSD flavour OS
please consider switching to another mailing list.
