Changing the keyboard bindings (Ctl+Alt+F1) in Xwindows

Hi,
In Xwindows on pressing ctl+alt+<f1-f6> swithes the system to console mode. We are developing a system were we would like these key presses to do different action.Could someone help me to find out how to change these keybinding in Xwindows.
