Unable to handle kernel paging request.

Hi,

I get an oops with the error message "Unable to handle kernel paging request....". I am using vmalloc to allocate memory. Does this error mean that I sleeping on a paging request from swap or could I just be accessing a messed up pointer? (as in, does it necessarily imply the former, or not)
