RE: kernel 2.6.9 failure
it would help a ton if you posted your lilo.conf. It's not a that big
is it?
Are you redirecting the output to another console?

-> Hi,
->
-> I posted this a few days ago and got no response. Meanwhile, the
problem
-> has
-> not gone away. Hopefully someone will nowconsider it.
->
-> I've installed two kernels on my K6-2 500MHz box, 2.4.28 and 2.6.9.
Both
-> options appear at boot in the lilo screen. Only the 2.4 kernel works.
The
-> 2.6
-> kernel resets the pc. "Loading....." is all that appears in the
console
-> before
-> the screen goes blank and the unit re-starts.
->
-> I believe my config is at fault since compilation and installation
were
-> OK and
-> lilo seems to know where everything is. In general, what should I be
-> looking
-> for?
->
-> Hope you can help.
