Buffer at fixed memory address ?

Hello All !
I have PCI board with PowerPC CPU and linux on it. All of it memory are
visible over PCI. I want to create network connection between this board and
a host computer.
I think the solution is to have a buffer on the board at fixed memory address
and to access this buffer from host. Is this right solution ? If so, how to
create buffer in memory at fixed address ? Is it possible ?
