No interrupts are not disable during the ISR. A ISR can be interrupted by another ISR. But not by the same ISR. Even on SMP, a specific ISR cannot be run multiple at the same time.can another ISR preempt the current executing ISR! during execution of ISR's are'nt the interrupts disabled?
yes it seems.do ISR's also have priority associated with them??? i think b4 executing an ISR the kernel calls "preempt-disable" (not very sure though....)???
