"nostdinc" is definitely the reasonable thing to use.
However, if you look at http://kernelnewbies.org/faq/index.php3#compmod which
is usually a good source of information, you don't
see that.

ur common sense is correct, however ur analisys is not complete.
although we get -I/path/to/kernel/headers on the command line, we also use
-nostdinc . that solves ur problems.
