There is this book, TCP/IP and Linux Protocol Implementation, by Jon
Crowcroft and Iain Phillips, but I recommend you to not buy the book. It
is an absolute waste. It is just an incoherent listing of the kernel
source code in a book. According to me, the source code is your best
friend. Keep looking at it till you can make sense of it.
Also various kernel mailing list archives are a good source, once you
have dirtied yourself with the source code a little bit.
