Newbie error compiling 2.5.66 modules
Hi to all:
When I try to compile from 2.5.66 kernel bzImage goes well, but when
compiling modules, I had an error in drivers/net/fc/iph5526.c that says:
( Translated from spanish )
"Decodification error before element '*'"
"warning: Function declaration is not a prototype"
And last message are:
"In function 'add_to_stest':"
"Structure has no member called 'address'
for 5 times.
That error is mine , a bug or a problem with my gcc ( I'm working with
RH 8 that has gcc 3.2 )?
I can avoid this error deselecting the module, but what will happen if
errors of this type arises with modules that i need?
A lot of TIAS and regards
D.
