Hi all,

I was wondering if there have been any efforts to specialize the Linux
TCP/IP stack using partial-evaluation (or anything else) for specific 
applications, say for multimedia streaming on embedded systems or very
lightweight networking requirements (like in smoke-sensors or something).

How feasible/difficult would it be? Any ideas?
