MCE support
I compiled kernel 2.4.19 with Machine Check Exception (MCE) support.
But I read
"For pentium machines the mce support defaults to off as the mainboard
support is not always present. You must activate it as a boot option."
Infact if I look at dmesg I find it's not enabled. I searched for
this option in Documentation files but I found nothing.
Anyone knows the right option?
PS Obvioulsy I controlled and my machine supports MCE as can been seen
from /proc/cpuinfo
root@darkstar:/proc# cat cpuinfo
