  Boris,

   Thanks.   I couldn't issue #dmesg command as there is only one console.   I also tried boot: linux mem=32M as
the machine has 32 MB memory.  That didn't work either.   I think the boot floppy didn't even reach that point to
process boot options because of failure on /sbin/loader.   The boot floppy was created from redhat 7.3 distro.

  This is really frustration,
