about mm_struct and process id

HI,

In kernel-2.2.19, when kernel is updating "vma->vm_mm->rss" or "mm->rss" value 
in "mm/memory.c" and "mm/vmscan.c", may I know whether it is possible to obtain
the id of the corresponding process, whose "rss" value is being changed?

The problem is that the "mm_struct" currently being updated may not be 
"current->mm".

How about this in 2.4.x kernel?
