download problems...

Hello....

I live in the persian gulf and when I download the
latest kernel, I either get disconnected or the
download becomes real slow. And when I managed to
download 2.4.1 (which was bz2 format), It turned out
to be corrupted and cannot be unzipped...

any suggestions on how to get kernels in this area of
the world?
