actually, it's based on 2.0 with some support for 2.2.

i've spent the past 5 days teaching myself module programming to the
exclusion of my dissertation and job (oops!). but as i've been learning,
i've been adding to the MPG and updating it for 2.4 (after all, it's a GPL
document).

anyway, i'm done with chapters 0-2. chapter 3 is nearly completed; i just
need to finish up a section on module versioning.

i've been adding to it as my way of learning. didn't really intend on
giving it to anyone, but i'm starting to really like it. if you or anyone
else here wants to take a look at chapters 0-3, email me and i'll send you a
postscript file.

mind you, i AM a newbie, albeit a fast learning one. and i wasn't doing it
to release to other people. but a couple of my friends said that it was a
really good improvement of the document. any comments on it would be
greatly appreciated.
