Yes, that and vmap() etc. are covered as well, on other pages.
The vmnotes.html file contains raw, unprocessed attempts
to understand the code, the idea being that sometimes
it's useful to see a reasoning process in action.
Maybe I should get rid of that section. The other pages
cover things in a more organized and (hopefully)
correct way.
